Gathering the herbs from my garden I see a beautiful flower Its petal tips cherry red And its stem is a deep olive green The petal is smooth on my finger tips I pluck the beautiful flower Happily I step inside my home The smells of sweet sugar, And warm steam from the boiling water I grab a purple vase from the counter.   Turning on the facet, I let the water drum into the vase until it was half full I admire the flower for one last moment.
